Two Bluegrass United Boys' Soccer Players Named to the National Christian School Athletic Association's Southeast Super-Regional Team

Seniors Jason Newell and Eric Vanzant were both chosen as members to NCSAA's 2014 Southeast Super-Regional Team. BU Soccer would like to congratulate Eric and Jason and thank them both for the positive impact they've had on our program.

Jason spent five years on our team. He earned his first varsity start as an 8th grader. This was Jason's second year being named to the Super-Regional Team, his third year as team captain, and second year as team MVP. Along with this honor, Jason has also been named to the All Tournament Team at the National Home School Championships.

Eric spent four years on our team. He earned his first varsity start as a sophomore. This was Eric's first year on the Super-Regional Team, his first year as team captain, first year as the team's leading scorer, and first year as MVP. Along with this honor, Eric has also been named to the All Tournament Team at the National Home School Championships.

Way to go, Eric and Jason! Our team is very proud of both of these talented young men and wishes them the best of luck in the future.
